Keith B. Scott, has the distinction of being one of the best known and most talented bonsai artist and teachers in the United States. He currently serves as curator of bonsai for the Phipps Conservatory Bonsai Collection in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Over the years we have come to admire Keith, not only for his talents as a teacher and artisan, but for his acerbic wit and unique insights into the world of bonsai. What you will find in these pages will be good information and good advice laced with Keith's special talent for stating the obvious and the not so obvious in a way that will sometimes make you smile, sometimes make you laugh outright and always remind you that the experiences of bonsai are a shared phenomenon. And insofar as we know, he always tells the truth...mainly.
